USCiS and september 30th cut off date

does anybody knows if USCIS is aware of september 30th cut off date meaning you need to have interview and granted greencard before september 30th of a particular fiscal year.I have very high number(82xxx) I have biometric appointment on september 5th,would I be able to have interview before sept 30th 2013.
 
Yes USCIS is aware (although some offices or staff may be individually oblivious) and, to some extent, they take account of it. However, there are some that get caught out and getting the interview scheduled is obviously critical. I'm sure someone more knowledgable than I on AOS will be along to comment about how to get the interview scheduled. It might help to post which FO you will be processing through.
