USCIA 800# response

GC was approved for myself, my younger son and my wife in the past 2 months (on different dates) however approval for my elder son remains pending. I had tried to check status using the 800# but the message states that they are having a system problem and that I will have to call back later. However if check status using my own or my wife's receipt #.....the message details out that our case has been approved. There is no option provided to speak to someone personally. I had to get in touch with the Senator's office for assistance.

Did anyone run into a similar problem?
 
Actually there is. Just use the option "EAC number not available(something like that)" of pending case whic will lead to the REP. Then just give what ever infor. they ask.
