You cannot be sponsored for citizenship, only permanent residence. Is the child over 21?

TheRealCanadian..from what I know if the child was under 18 when the parent became citizen, then its automatic citizenship for the child even if the child is older than 18 now.. hence the N600 application.... cuz I have heard a few cases but I might be wrong..
