Hi All
I am a Canadian PR and recently applied for a visitor visa to the US. I am currently working on a voluntary basis as a research assistant. I was in the US for 11 years on F-1 and then a H-1 visa. I moved to Canada as my H-1 was expiring and since I received my Canadian PR. My brother sent me the affidavit of support and other documents to facilitate the visa. The immigration officer went through my application and to my surprise asked me to submit additional details on my job/research CV,. He also mentioned that it will take 4 weeks for a decision to be made on my case. Did anyone go through a similar process. I am confused since I don´t know whether my application is refused or will be approved. Wanted to check from others who receieved a similar response from the US immigration .
Thank you all!
