US-VISIT and advanced parole

Does one need to go through US-VISIT (finger printing and picture) while returning on Advanced Parole. Just returned through Detroit International Airport.

Was taken for secondary inspection but no US-VISIT.

Am wondering if this will be a problem.

Are you a canadian citizen. You might be exempt.
Any one else- can you please share your experience. Thanks.
 
I came back from Europe last month.
Immigration officer told me I don’t need to register as long as I’m using AP.
I double-checked with my attorney and she told me that's right.

Can you elaborate a little more in detail about your experience returning on AP through Detroit Metro airport. I see that you have posted saying you were taken for a secondary inspection. Just to get a feel, as my wife is travelling with AP and she might be travelling alone and wanted to know if they were asking too many questions or things like that and also how long does it take for the secondary inspection.

Nothing much. You are required to go for primary inspection at any of of the visitor counters. They then direct you to another counter for secondary inspection and you are asked questions like how long were you out of the country / who is petitioning for you. (I was asked two questions).
