Would US Consulate Officer request US Tax Returns at DV Interview if you have worked in US?

If you have worked they probable will ask for a statement from your employer stating you are working at the job you have stated otherwise you need I-134....

I don't think tax returns will be needed...they are interested what you have right now and where the money comes from...if you can support your self till you find a job, etc...
