Hello,
We plan to travel to India on June 10th, 2018. But my minor child's US passport expires slightly less than 6 months after that (Dec 1, 2018). My questions:
1. Does India require US passport to be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry? Online info on this is unclear, so wanted to check if people have successfully entered India in such situation.
2. In case this is required, I'll have to apply for new US passport for my child. I see posts here that seem to indicate that I will not have to apply for new OCI for my child, and can travel with both old and new passports and OCI card. Again, please post if you have successfully done so.
