US passport photos = Canadian Visa photos?

I was given a document from the Canadian Embassy in Washington saying that passport size photos are required but as far as I know the length and width are different compared to the one specified in this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/guides/5256EB.html#wp302861

I have problem hunting down photo centers in Austin TX that could help me to take a visa photo based on the spec in that URL. I'm afraid that my application will get rejected if i submit a passport-sized photo.. Anyone can help me on this?

Jeez.. In case anyone was as blurry/confused as I was earlier, it's passport-sized photo in US... I supposed the requirement doc I have was a local requirment bck in my home country..
