US passport for minor kids

I completed my citizenship interview yesterday successfully. I am expecting my oath letter in the coming month.
I have question about applying for passport to my kid.
He was born in india. He was 12 years old.
I am maintaing my wife's familyname as is (before marriage sirname) in all the documents (passports,citizenship application etc...).

But in my kids birth certificate, my family name was written insteaed of my wife's family name in the column of mother's name. Except this all other documents have her family name as first name.
Will it be a problem while applying for my kids passport/N600 application?

Please help me in this.

If it was not an issue during the GC process, I really do not see it being an issue now.
