US Passport Application questions

Can anyone share their experiences with US pasport application after the oath?

Is there another face-to-face interview? Does the process take more than the advertised six weeks?

I am in Chicagoland.

The link that has been posted should answer all your questions. There is no "interview" so to speak, but you have to appear in person at the Post Office or passport office to sign your application. It is a much simpler process; nothing like immigration!
