US Citizenship application being delayed

Hello,

I applied to the US Citizenship back in Dec 01, 2020. At that time, the website specified that the estimated completion date will be July 2021 (7 months).

Today i logged in the web site and got the message that my completion date will be September 2021 (6 months). And that there is nothing outstanding on my end.

Anyone know the reasons of this?, please advise.

General Covid-related delays. We have had a family member take 16 months to get to interview. It partly depends on your field office workload. Also, the estimated times on the website are very seldom accurate and can fluctuate wildly sometimes for no apparent reason. Dec - March is barely 3 months. That’s not a substantial delay. many field offices have a longer wait times.
 
For the last 4 weeks i got the message in my account that the "estimated time for processing is down", is that the new thing going on with USCIS?. Now i don't event have any clue if my process is moving forward of if is on hold.
 
Mine says 11 Months. It also said 11 months when I logged in a few months ago. So who knows how long it'll take.
