US citizen sponsoring Green Card(GC) for parents

Hope all are doing well. I had Petition for my Parent's GC (Filing I-130) approximate 3.5 months back . I am still yet to hear anything from USCIS or any other govt agency. Is it normal or things going slow because of the new govt administration. Would Appreciate if anyone in a similar situation could respond.

Quite normal, average processing time for immediate relative I130 has been around 15 months so far this fiscal year. This is a little longer than the approximately a year of the previous couple of years.

Thats right @SusieQQQ , it was much faster earlier.
In 2023 (just 2 years back) got parent's Green Card in under 10 months from the time I-130 was filed and LPR status was confirmed. Initial Notification - Receipt Notice was surely much less than 3.5 months.
Things have changed now.
