US Citizen marrying Norwegian, moving to Norway

I wasnt sure where else to ask this question.

I am a US citizen wanting to marry a Norwegian, and move to Norway.

Does anyone know anything about what to do? I want to move there and not have to move back to the US.

I have found some information regarding a Fiancé permit, but I would like to hear responses from actual people rather than a government website spewing random information at me.

Start with a face to face at the local Norway embassy or consulate and see what they say!
