I recently became Us Citizen I want to file a petition to sponsor my parents so they can become resident aliens, my question is: I'm currently pregnant and I'm due next month so I’m eligible to receive Maternity disability, can I file the petition of my parent if I'm on maternity disability? I read that you have to prove that you can support the persons that you are filling the petition for. Can my husband also be sponsor if he makes 78k a year will that be enough to file the petition for my parents? or they do required that the relative in this case myself has to be active working?
