US citizen accompanying Visitor Mom

I am a US citizen currently in India (Dad passed away last week in Bombay)....taking my Mom alongwith me to the US in a few weeks. She has a 10 year Multiple Entry Visitor Visa.

Quick questions:
(1) Is it OK for her to travel with me, or should she travel separately (I am not very comfortable letting her travel alone in this state).
(2) Do I need to buy a return ticket for her or is a one-way ticket OK?

She should have a round trip ticket. You can certainly travel together.

A2: I would strongly advise that she enters with a valid return ticket.
