your question has a deep meaning
i live 1 block from ukrainian embassy .
if you are ukrainian u can get visa to russia . and and just pass the border with your ukrainian passport.
it can be risky if they will identify you as an asylee (betrayal of country etc. u know what i mean) there is a code on your GC ASXX and and keep in mind citizinship interview
if you are not ukrainian than u can get visa on your reentry permit.
as far as i know Commonwealth of Independent States(X soviet states) have visa agreements beteween eachother. citizins of those states do not need visa for 3 days or longer while travelling in CIS(Commonwealth of Independent States)
I am not sure about Georgia,estonia ,latvia,and uzbekistan

i dont think russian citizens need visa for MInsk .If i were u i would check with embassy .If yes just get a visa on your reentry permit . and and you can just pass the russian border patrol with your National passort.muslikcat said:

There is no boarder inspection between Minsk and Moscow, so you can pretty much fly to Minsk, take a train and go to Moscow. But as Sinnersroom has mentioned there is such thing as a category on your GC which says ASXX. We don't know what kind of agreements they have between Russia and Belarus and what kind of problem you can get yourself in when traveling there. I personally find it a little risk.
