URGENT_7th Year

Hi
My husband has applied fro 7th year extension.His Labour is filled from San Francisco(more than 1 year).His employer is in California,but he is on a Project in NYC since one year.

His H-1 6yrs getting over in Aug.WE have filled our 7th year extension.Now the Problem is that our Lawyer had filled the HI-B extesnion from Vermont Centre stating that Federal Laws are same everwhere.

our Lawyer reply"INS is same all over and federal law is same all over the country.
the processing is in Vermont because the job is in its' jurisdiction. "


We are very worried...
Can he get extension as his Employer & Greencard are filled from Claifornia!!

Pls advise, how should we proceed???
Pls reply!! it is ok to file from Vermont?? will he get any RFE???
We have filled through Premium Processing!!
Any suggestions??????????????

Who is J?

Anyways it doesn't matter from which place is LC filed to get extension on H1b visa.

BTW - have some patience - it is just 3 minutes between your two posts.

No it will not create any problem. By the way which J were you talking about - there are more than 100 Js in this portal - just curious...
