Hi
I have an appointment In Mexico on Dec17. I wanted to know besided I20, Certificates,transcripts and necessary financial docs from sponsor do I need any other docs to carry to the consulate? I will be going to Tijuana. I also wanted to know abt the docs necessary to convince the consulate abt my return to India.
Do I need a Mexican visa to enter Mexico? I Heard that we need just my passport and they give permits for say 24 hrs at the entry point. Is this true? Please reply soon since I have the appointment on next monday.

I had been to Mexico--Tijuana and got my F1 visa. There is no need for any permit or visa since it is a open border country itseems. I went there in the morning and by afternoon my visa was ready. Very few questions were asked which is answerable. I had taken all my documents(even extra) along with proof to return to home country.
Only problem was people there hardly know English. But we can still manage. There was a long queue to enter USA. Make sure you have your passport and I94. Be carefull with them even when you are in Mexico_Otherwise you are in soup.There is a mail abt going to Tijuana in this site....Please refer to georgi "Re-enter visa for H-1B" 11/8/01 12:11am for the mail. The below documents are needed and I found this info from multipleentry.com.

1. Visa appointment letter (If you don\'t have the appointment letter, reference number is OK too)
2. OF156 application form with one passport size photo (Two OF156 and two photos for following country: Cuba, North Korea, People\'s Republic of China, Russia and Vietnam.)
3. I-20
4. Assistantship letter if any
5. Letter of admission to the program
6. Undergraduate degree, transcripts
7. Passport and I-94. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
8. Copy of your spouse\'s H1B approval (I-797)
9. Letter from your spouse\'s employer confirming the employment
10. Marriage certificate
11. Tax return since you filing together
12. Your spouse\'s recent pay stubs
13. Birth certificate if available
14. Your spouse\'s file for current H1B petition (I-129, LCA, I-797)

hi all i am having appointment on mar20 in juarez for f1 stamping can anyone help me what douments i should tekae to show them strong ties with my country.pls urgent help me.esp suja and others who has gone to juarez conulate to get visa status changed
 
Can I come back?

Hi all,
I am also palnning to go to Mexico for H1 Stamp..I came in US on H4.
My question is If I get rejected, can i come back according to the 30 days rule? I am not sure about it...
