I am going to Tijuana next week for my multiple entry H1B stamping. Does anyone know if one can get a Mexican border permit/visa at Tijuana border?
Will it cause some problem if I not take a border permit?
I went to the Mexican consulate the other day but they keep your passport for 5 to 12 days before they issue you a visa. I wasn\'t prepared for that.

Nope, you don\'t need a mexican visa/permit for Tijuana. I did get my visa stamped in Tijuana. No problems. All the best.

How long it took for you to get the visa, I mean how many days you need to be there. I am planning to go to El Paso to get my visa stamped. I came on B2 and got my H1 after being here for 6 months. Is there any problem in getting the visa stamped. What happens if they deny and ask to go the country of origin to get the visa stamped can we reenter US immediatly?
