!!!Urgent: wrong birthyear on approved petition!!!

Freind of mine (USCitizen) filed for GC petition for sister and Brother in Law, approved and interview is at new delhi embassay on June 1st 2005. Benefiaciary just found that the Petition filed has wrong birth year for brother in law.

Is there form freind (petiotioner) or benefiaciary can file for birth year correction before the interview on June1st ?

Call INS Support center or write them a letter. Send them the copies (I hope you made one) to them and point put the original DOB you put on it. Also, what is the error? Did they switch month and year?

I don't think there is a form for such a correction. Group, please correct me if I am wrong.

Petiotioner herself had put bymistake wrong date on the application filed for brother in law.
Is there anything she can do to correct this ?

I guess the only thing you can do now is to send a certified letter to USCIS and during the interview, point out the wrong DOB to the immigration officer. Make sure that officer knows that you have already tried to notify USCIS via mail. You can also call their support number and see if the rep. has a better solution.

From what I have read on some other posts on this forum, the officer usually does not have any problem in correcting any mistakes on the form during the interview.
