Urgent! Who sign the employment letter and what can be the original letterhead for UC

Hi, friends,

I just got my RFE requested for "a recent letter from your employer on their original letterhead (not photocopy)". Now it is my questions:
=====================================
(1) May I use my supervisor (he is nice and very supportive in my immigration application, I am under his direct supervision) as the employer to sign this letter? Or it has to be signed by the lab chairman or dept. HR people?

(2) All my past offer letter and related employment documents are using a high-resolution image (University of California XXXX, and list all branches of UC system) as letterhead and printed on the ordinary laser printer (not like some other univerisities which use the colorful official university letterhead and paper) and signed. I have asked my supervisor and he told me that he has used that before without any problem. But I am somewhat afraid that this may not be acceptable since USCIS asked for not-photocopy. It posed no problem in my I-140 approval when I provided a recommendation letter with such printed letterhead, but do not know whether it also works fine now.
=====================================

Anyone has similar experience would you please give your suggestions and hints? I believe there are a lot of people in UC system have successfully finished their GC journey and would appreciate if you give me your insights on these issues. Thank you very much!

HR departments usually write these letters - just tell them that you need your start date, salary and employment status on it.
I don't know if the letter from laser printer will be OK, but you can always ask for it to be written on company stationery, I'm sure they have it.
Remember - it's a very normal thing to ask, EVLs are part of HR's job description and they've been writing them all the time.

If you can get EVL in your company letter head it should be fine whether it is your supervisor or your HR. Check with your Attorney on this, if you have one.
Did you get this status message changed in below format on website before you received rfe in mail.
"On July 21, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

or different one.

Good Luck on your RFE response.
