Urgent, where to file my I-765

Hi, my lawyer has sent my EAD and AP application to USCIS chicago office (427 S. LaSalle-3rd floor, CHicago, IL 60605-1098).

I double checked the instructions for where to file for both EAD and AP. It seems that only the AP should be sent to the above address. But for EAD, althrough my category is c9, but only c9 under the family based application with I-485 pending should send the application to chicage office. My I-140 , which is employment based, was approved last year. My I-485 is pending. (I am in New York). My understanding is that my case should be sent to Vermont office. AM I Right?? Thanks

Actually, I just checked the instructions for both I-765 and I-131, for employment-based I-485, both I-765 and I-131 should be sent to Vermont Center. (I am in NY). Am I right?

Please help. My documents were sent to USCIS Chicago office by my lawyer.
What I can do if the application should be sent to Vermont center?

All Employmnet Based AP and EAD applications should be sent to:

U.S. Department of Homeland Security
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
Vermont Service Center
75 Lower Welden St.
Saint Albans, Vermont 05479

Yes, you are right. My lawyer just sent me an email saying it should be sent to Vermont center. (It was a mistake for them to send my I765 and I131 to the Chicago office).

Now, what is the solution?
Can I just resubmit I-765 and I-131 to the Vermont center? If i can resubmit, do I need to withdraw the applicaion sent to the chicago at the same time? (otherwise i will have two same petitions at two INS offices, it is not good i think). But I do not know how to withdraw a application without the INS case no.
Is that possible to ask the chicago office to forward my applications to the Vermont center. How long it takes, normally?

Anyone has any knowledge, please help. THanks so much and have a nice day.

You need to wait until you receive the receipt number from Chicago inorder for them to locate your file to withdraw. Good Luck!

Now I am ready to resubmit all I765 and I131 to the Vermont center.
Before I submit the new I765 and I131 to Vermont, should I wait the receipt notice from Chicago office, then withdraw the applications from the chicago office. Is there any conflict if I resubmit to the vermont without the withdrawing???????

If your case pending at VSC, you should send the application to VSC
