Urgent: When to apply for H1 7th year (on 140 Appeal)

I am in urgent need of guidance. I applied for I140 appeal on Sep 07. I have one month left on h1 6th year. can I apply for 7th year ext. right now or wait till the last week? Also is there any problem with applying in Premium?

Did anyone have success in premium processing?

My I-140 is under appeal. We are filing for 8th year H1 under premium processing this week. H1 expires on 06/30/08.
There shouldn't be any problem with your H1 extension since your I-140 is under appeal.

As long as the I-140 is appealed, you can get your H-1B extended.

Did your H1 get extended? I just applied mine (non-premium) I am in a dilemma whether to convert it to premium or not.
