Hello,

My family have been approved after a successful interview at the US consulate based on the follow to join application.

They have the been given a covering letter with picture id along with the sealed packet .

Questions :

1) What documents are required at the Mumbai Airport to show to the airlines ?

2) Is PCC required at hte mumbai airport before they board the plane ?

3) What questions are asked to the US port of Entry?

4) If one gets the visa based on the follow to join application does anybody have "sour" experience .

{Normally they look for a valid US Visa before allowing you
through. In this case the visa's would have been cancelled
in the passport, so the Immigration officer should be shown
the visa packets for each of the travellor. They would be
familiar with this.

No othe document is necessary. However we have seen
some instances of officers asking for IT clearance certificate.
But for your family they may not raise this. If they do , you
should firmly say that you have been living in US and you don't
need the IT clearance on this trip.

The above is to deal with the Immigration Officer. The airline
would also be shown the visa packet. Nothing else. }

2) Is PCC required at hte mumbai airport before they board the plane ?

{No}

3) What questions are asked to the US port of Entry?

{They may not ask much since the travellors are not the
main applicant. However it is better to be prepared with
the following:

* Where the primary applicant is working.
* The name of the company and such general information}

4) If one gets the visa based on the follow to join application does anybody have "sour" experience .

{It should not be different than any other category}
