Urgent travel

My friend has applied for his H1 and H4 extension and has adv parole(only for him) , his wife is on H4 both have applied for extension, h4 is expiring on feb 7 and they planning to go to india and she is going to come back on 31st jan before the expiry of h4, will she have any problem at poe while coming back, since she will only have her receipt for the extionsion filed.

-------------- I think your"friend" has Valid H1 visa stamp if he enters Before his Visa expires then I don't see any problem. Better to Reach US POE 2-3 days advance of Visa expiry date(many flights get delayed). If your friend H1 Visa is valid till Feb 7 then his wife Can enter US with Valid H4 visa Before her H4 Visa stamp gets expired or Before Feb7.
**at POE they need to show Valid Visa stamps(extension filing receipts should be shown only if asked at POE)
