Urgent travel, Please help

Hi All,

Thanks all for being part of this board. A close family member is very sick and i need to leave asap depending on ticket availability. I have my AP thru Dec 3 . What docs do i need to carry apart from my passport and AP . Also i have used AC21 to change my job. Will the inspectors at the port of enrty start probing about it and will it cause a problem and how should i handle the situation. Gurus please help.

AP, Passport, I-485 filing receipt and new employer letter, recent pay stubs (show it if asked) you must be back to US before AP expires
 
These days’ consulates, BCIS officers, BCBP officer can ask any questions or documents, I don’t think at POE they are going to ask many questions. Nothing bad in keeping employer letter, they normally don’t ask for it, they will just check in BCIS computer if your I-485 is pending with the A # on AP and if the AP was issued to you, nothing to worry.
