Urgent-Travel during H1 visa process

Hi all,


I am on H1B visa.My old visa is valid till June 2003.I applied for H1b transfer on 13th of Nov 2002 and for which i received the receipt.I intend to travel to india on 2nd of Jan for my marriage.
I am returning to US on jan 25th 2003.I will be coming alone.My new visa is under process from my new employer.

1)Can i enter US with my old visa even though my new visa is under process.
2)Will there be any risk in the port of entry if i enter with the old visa?
3)What all will be the possible questions at the port of entry?

Should i tell them that i am with new employer and my h1 is under process.What all the documents should i take with me.
