Hello CP Gurus, I am leaving day after tomorrow for Sept 17th interview, I need some urgent suggestions on salary issue-
My Labor applications says 'X' Salary, I am getting right now 'Y' salary and Y>X. My employment letter also says I will be getting 'Y'. Today I noticed that in my I-140 application, my lawyer screwed up and put salary, Z more than Y. so, X>Y>Z, Is this would be issue?
thanks for help

please clarify

calm down!
you say Z is more than Y, but write X>Y>Z
and say X is labor, but you are paid Y which is more than X, but write X>Y??

is it Z>Y>X?

I think it should be okay ..but just keep yourself ready for an answer, just in case if they raise this question. If it all they compare your current salary then it would be with your labor application. So I guess you need not to be worried.

If they ask you can keep a copy of your labor application and explain the situation.

So relax, and go with the confidence, 9 out 0f 10 times these kind of questions are not raised as you could see from others' experience that it is a very simple interview.

Hello Victor3536,

It seems that I am the 1 out of 10 facing a difficult time with the CP.

My case is, most recently, my employer 'screwed up' the job offer letter, stating I'll get $x/hr, work for 36-40 hrs per week and earn approx $y/year, whereby y < 1872x, i.e. numbers don't tally!
(Just in case you're wondering: 1872 = 36 x 52, a 36-hr work week and a 52-week work year).

The officer said that I am underpaid and asked me to leave and wait for further news from them. I have already been asked to revise the wage twice earlier on. What is the probability that I will get rejected without further recourse? What can I do to help myself?
