urgent question re. aos

Hello All:
I am expecting my AOS to be approved sometime soon (PD 6/99, RD 1/01). My wife is currently visiting India on AP/EAD which is valid till 2/02 My question specifically is this:
If my AOS gets approved while she is in India, will this cause her any problems at port of entry? I obviously will hold off on passport stamping till she gets back. Also as a follow up question: under what criteria would she enter the US? On a AP/EAD or as a potential Permanent Resident?
