Urgent Question Please help (Regarding H4..)

Hi,

One of my friend has died because of Cancer. He was on H-1B. His wife and kids currently on H-4 which is valid till October 2005(Stamped on passport also). They want to go to India and come back on the same visa. Is it possible. Please suggest.

I am sorry to know!! but the spouse kids cannot come back to US on H4 becase H4 was based on H1 visa.

Thanks for response. Is there a way INS tracks of the validity of their H-4?.
(How does INS will know of the death?). The company my friend used to work for is not going to report to INS.Please respond ASAP.
