Urgent Question About N-400 Process

I have just called the USCIS, and was informed that my case has been delayed, and a very friendly IO lady has submitted a check for my case and told me within 30 days I should either receive a letter asking me for interview or explanation for the delay.

So folks, which one is most likely to get, interview notice or delay explanation?

i don't understand why uscis like to play that mind game.
It is so tiring. Life is complicated enough why making it more complicated.
she should just tell you ok we will send you interview notice or tell you we will send you notice of delay.

I guess that friendly IO lady has no control about this either..well, it is already much better than what I ve excepted.

I dealt with DMV last week...the customer service is horriable.

I remember when i went to social security office to get the conditional remove.
I was waiting in line for almost an hour and a half and then when it is my turn, suddenly the social sec worker told me she needs to take a coffee break. So i need to wait for another half an hour watched her drinking coffee

Getting interview letter instead of the delay notice is my 2008 new year resolution.
