Urgent query about I 94- on returning back to India

Hello,

My friend came on F1 3 years ago, got H1 issued 1.5 years ago. HE has two I 94s ...
Now he is going back to India but has two I 94s- one for F1 and the other one for H1... He's confused as if which I 94 is he supposed to return to airlines tomorrow? old ( F1) , New ( H1) or Both???

all inputs will be appreciated, I know inability to return I 94 may pose problem at reentry! Please advise urgently...

-----------------Both .Staple both the I-94 and give at airline counter before departure. Keep the copy of all I-94 front and back for future records.
