Hi

I came us in nov-01 and i did not work for 3 months(nov-dec-01,jan-02).My employer did not give me the w2 for the year 2001 as i had not worked.He started to issue me the paystubs from the month of feb-02 and i am having all my w2's for the year 2002 and 2003.As i am getting married soon i want to know whether the first 3 months will effect the h4 visa processing.I went thru the chennai consulate website and they are asking w2's of all the years.Can anyone suggest me what to do.Your help is greatly needed

It is a difficult situation. Apparently there is no solution to this problem other than taking the risk and applying. The image of the consulting company will also be tarnished at chennai consulate. Ask your company to help you out.

I was in the same situation and many of my friends who came during the economic downturn had this same issue. I got married last year and didn't had any problem by the grace of god. Hope the same with you. Relax...
