I would like someone to clarify the doubt i have now.
Iam on J1 Visa aaplied for waiver and expecting favourable recommandation by 3rd week of april. My J1 expires on June 30th 2007,I already got a job offer from a school.Now my question is when i apply for H1 after i get waiver when is the official start date of my H1( i know this would be in general from Oct 1st 07) but the schools will start by 2nd week of August and being a teacher i cannot say i will come after october 1st n join them,they will replace me if i convey my inability to join them on the start of school Year.
I want to know whether there's any possibilty of any other Visa i can procure in this intermediatary time, I know being employed with a Non Profit Organisation i will not come under H1 Cap but what about my start date of H1Please clarify as soon as possible before i commit to a school offer n cannot join them on time
