Urgent! Please Help Baltimore Transfer Cases

I live in Virginia(1 hour from Baltimore, Maryland) and my I-485 case has been transferred to Baltimore for Interview.

I thought the cases are transferred to Local INS office (in my case it
is Arlington, Virginia)

Has anyone been in the same situation.. Please post.

Post your details. It has become a common practise to transfer to Local Office. you may want to Call up the baltimore office and ask them to transfer case to virginia local office.

I know a friend of my friend who lives in northern virginia and his case has been transferred to the local INS office in Baltimore. I guess you are better off being transferred to baltimore rather than Arlington, VA as the wait is much longer in VA.

I am totally fine with Baltimore taking up my case. But I do not
want Baltimore to wait for two months and then transfer the case to virginia.

It would be of great help if people let us know...

If Baltimore INS process 485 application (Interview) for people living outside Maryland.
