Urgent -Please clarify

I have noticed my EAD card , it has sayin "finger print not availbale".but we did our FP long back, INs had received our FP results . Why it is showing that message. Is it common to every one

Please clarify me

But I never bothered about it since the I-485 says that FP has been received. Don't know whether I should be concerned. I only took this as a case where the INS doesn't talk to FBI or their databases are not alligned as we think from database point of view.
 
This is pretty common . In my case , EAD card was issued before my FP results were received by INS . In some other cases, INS doesn't care to synchronize its FP database with EAD card production . Nothing to worry about.
 
In my case too, EAD got approved before they took my finger prints. As Vivekm said, they don't synchronize EAD with finger prints.
 
It has nothing to do with FP we do for FBI check.

Earlier INS use to give a Blue (I guess) form for your index finger print along with I-765 form. But now they don't expect/require this form. Check on BCIS web site for more info.
 
Exactly, it is your fingerprint in lieu of your signature. However we sign and don't use fingerprint anymore to identify ourselves at oru place of work or whatever.
Hence, no fingerprint is required.
 
Finger print on EAD card has nothing to do with the finger print you give at the FBI office. Do not worry about the finger print on your EAD card. Actually when you apply for EAD, there is a form where your signature along with the finger print will be there and they get the finger print from that form. That has nothing to do with 485 finger printing notice that you give at the INS office.
