Dear Experts:

My RIR labor certification applied in local Atlanta in 08/2002, sent to regional Atlanta in 05/2003. On July 20, 2003 the phone retrival system says DOL issued Notice of Finding and a response is due by August 20, 2003.

I called my attorney (employer’s attorney), who is uncooperative, not giving any information.

What does this response mean? Please advice what to do next?

Thanks.

IF NOF HAS BEEN ISSUED, YOUR ATTORNEY BUST BE ALREADY WORKING ON THAT. You do not need to do anytihing from your side. DOL only communicates with attorney, so just relax & check AVM again after 08/20.

niwea,
Make sure your lawyer got the NOF notice. Sometimes they get lost in mail. Lawyers, as we all know, sometimes does not bother to reply the NOF or just careless about it. If the reply is not received by the given due date, application will be denied.

Just make sure your lawyer got the notice and he is working on it. If your lawyer is responsible person, s/he might have sent the reply back to DOL.
