Urgent Please advice: Resubmitting 485 before August 17th deadline

I am considering resubmitting my I485. My attorney didn't take delivery confirmation when he mailed my application. I am worried about my package getting lost, and the August 17th deadline will pass. Hopefully it's not lost, but there is no way confirm the receipt.

Is it possible to resubmit application without losing application fees? Will it create any additional problems?

I wouldn't do that.
I was in the same boat and thought about resubmitting as well. I have got reciepts 5+ weeks after sending my documents.
As far as I understand right now the waiting time could be as long as 90 days...
It's quite rare for them to loose a package.

I really want to take your advice and wait. But it's just so damn difficult. I keep thinking about truckloads of applications arriving to SCs.

I know. It is difficult. I have just got out of the same boat a week ago.
The main reason that stopped me from refiling everything again was that it wouldn't change anything, it wouldn't cut your waiting time, which is in my experience was the main trouble and source of restless nights and shaking hands...
The second reason was that paying twice doesn't look as a good side effect either.
