URGENT!! Pleaee share AP experience at Newark, NJ

Please share detail advance paroll experience at Newark, NJ.
Can we get AP in the same day?
Do my wife need to be there personally there or I can apply on her behalf?
What kind of papers are needed in support of application?
We did not applied AP along with our 485.

I had to take the AP when my Father-in-law expired in Aug,2000. You have to go to Newark as early as possible on any weekday
other than Wednesday. I reached ther 3:30 AM (yes!) and I could see already 200-300 people in the line. My wife joined me at
7:30AM. They allow inside FIFO basis at 7:30AM. Take all the papers such as AP form, check, labor certification, I-140, I-1485,
EAD (if u have), passport, reason for AP etc. We got the AP at 4:55 PM ( yes!). You are the last one to be serverd.

 Two people who did not have copy of !-140 were refused. The officers were too rude. One person, who did not not have I-140 copy,
but had I-485 copy, when his AP was refused questioned the IIO, " Isn\'t it logical that I can not file I-485 without I-140 approval?",
for which, the IIO said, "I am the Immigration officer here, you are the customer. I need to see what I need to see".
Other person who had the ticket ready for that night, whose AP was refused because of I-140 said, "can I get my I-140
faxed to you right now?", she refused for that as well. So, please be firm and specific when you answer. Take everything
that you can think of. They give AP for 6 months. You have a cafetaria inside.

Immigration: You do have to go very early to Newark, I took my AP about a year ago, I went athere around 5:30AM I took my 485 application and EAD card along with the AP application and fee and photographs, do not go on wednesday, but things have changed slightly since then, you have to carry with you I140 like God in his previous message said, also you need the reason for Ap, I had to take a telegram sent from India regarding the sickness of mother-in-law along with the hospital papers as proof of emergency. You will get the AP the same day but after you come out of the building you will get a nausicating feeling as to where the heck you were all this time.. also try to go to cafetaria and have your normal meals there perhaps in the anxious mood I did not eat properly plus I was there since morning made me naucsious, take a book to read that helps..
