Urgent PERM experience letter issue

Dear gurus-

Background:

I'm on a H1B visa working for a Fortune 500 company as FTE.
I'm applying for PERM. My current company is in the process of publishing ad for my current position.

My question- I worked for a company XXX prior to joining my current company for more than a year. Company XXX changed my position two/three months before I left. My job responsibilities were also changed by XXX while I had most of my old responsibilities some newer responsibilities were added as well. Now is this a violation of H1B visa? I now need a experience letter from that company for PERM. And company XXX has gone out of business so I need to hurry and get this letter from them.

If I show 10 months of experience in one position and 3 months with another title? Will this matter for PERM? Please help! Thank you!

Whatever your corresponding petition says (you're saying H1B), that's what your letter should reflect. So, if you H1B petition said you were a "Computer Programmer" then your letter should say the same (in essence, if Company XXX didn't file a new H1B for you, in the eyes of the government your position is the same as it always was.) It doesn't matter if the company is no longer in business as long as the person issuing the letter (assumedly a previous supervisor) can put it on that closed company's letterhead.
