This is sorta urgent, i got my greencard based on marriage to US citizen about 3 years ago, i am preparing N400 citizenship application by myself and plan to submit very soon; My husband is currently out of the country and will be staying abroad for several more months, i am visiting him next week (leaving tomorrow) and need to know what doc need husband's signature for N400 app??

I read from Immigration dept check list from http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/M-476.pdf but cannot find any place needs my husband's signature, is that right?

thanks so much!!!

thanks

oh good, thanks! i asked because it's marriage based, and because when I applied for greencard my husband had to sign some forms to sponsor me, something like that. it is good to know not so much trouble now.

btw, my name check was stuck at FBI for about a year and a half when i applied green card, i wonder if they are going to speed up this time for citizenship because assuming they already checked my background from my birth year till 2006, or is this gonna be nightmare all over again?

With GC , he was your sponsor and had to sign to attest to the fact that he can support you . ,but with naturalization there is no such requirement.

A previous delay in name check doesn't necessarily mean a delay in the future name check as well. Many of the delays in the past were caused by backlog. Those backlogs have since been greatly reduced, so there aren't many name check delays anymore.

Well the name check for citizenship is kind of independent in my view. I was stuck in name check for about 1 years in I-485 and in N-400 everything (application to oath) was over in about 4.5 months. I think in most cases delay is because of local office processing dealy rather than FBI, Though there are still poor souls stuck in namecheck I believe FBI has cleaned up it's act and is processing faster than previously.
