Urgent: Need Help: H1-B revalidation

I have an appointment in Delhi on 5th June for my H1-B revalidation and my wife's H-4 revalidation. I will greatly appreciate if someone can answer the questions I have.

I joined this new company X in Oct 2005. I had 7th year extension approved (I-797) from my previous employer Y (based on LC pending with Y). The new employer X used the same approval notice and letter from labor department, for my H1 transfer and got it approved for the 7th year.
Now with X, my I-140 is files on a labor substitution case...

My questions are

1. Since I am no longer employed with Y so if asked the basis of my 7th year extension, can I show the letter from Labor department (for LC with Y) and approved I-797 (with Y) as a proof?
2. Should I tell anything about my current labor substitution case where my I-140 is pending
3. Do I need any letter from the client, where I am working as a consultant?
4. Do I need Income Tax returns papers for my new employer X?

Thanks.

----------- they need latest H1 approval notice and paystubs that you are working
2. Should I tell anything about my current labor substitution case where my I-140 is pending
----------- your I-140 is pending, you need to write on form DS156 if the form asks"if any immigrant petition is field for you "and your answer has to be YES. reply only what is asked.
3. Do I need any letter from the client, where I am working as a consultant?

----------- Yes
4. Do I need Income Tax returns papers for my new employer X?
---------- you should take all your tax filing papers and show only what is asked

Thanks.

Ginnu,
Thanks for your reply. Since this is my 7th year extension approval and is based upon the “Pending LC/Approved I-797” by my OLD employer. So what should I say if asked the reason for my 7th year extension? Should I say that I already had 7th year approved by my previous employer and then transferred H1 to new employer?

Also, My current client is a big company and I do not think they will give me any kind of letter. In that case, what are my options? Can the contract between my company and client be used instead?

I will be carrying all my Tax returns but do I need any tax returns for my employer also?

I will greatly appreciate your reply.
Thanks.

----------- they dont ask any reason from you. you got 7th year H1 approval because you were Eligible for the 7th year from USCIS and H1 extension is based on LC pending for you more than a year >

Should I say that I already had 7th year approved by my previous employer and then transferred H1 to new employer?
--------------- dont lie, tell the facts if aksked. I dont know why are you worried. many get 7th H1 extension based on pending LC from earlier employer
Also, My current client is a big company and I do not think they will give me any kind of letter.
------------- if you are working for them then why dont they give you letter that XYX is working with us on H1 status and he is paid........ it is simple letter
In that case, what are my options?

Can the contract between my company and client be used instead?
-----keep that with you
I will be carrying all my Tax returns but do I need any tax returns for my employer also?

I will greatly appreciate your reply.
Thanks.

Ginnu,
Thanks again for your response.

Just want to emphasize that I did not mean to lie anything. I really got H1 transfer done which was based upon approved 7th year I-797 through my previous empoyer's H1 (pending LC case).

------------- if you are working for them then why dont they give you letter that XYX is working with us on H1 status and he is paid........ it is simple letter----

Does the letter need to have my status (H1) also because I don't think that my status is known to the client. I am just a consultant for them through my employer.

I will greatly appreciate your reply.

1 was working with A on H1 visa status and A also filed LC for you
2 you joined B and B got 7th year H1 for you based on LC filed by A and LC filed by A was pending more then 1 year

You are working as consultant with C
if that is true then you need letter of B not C as B is your employer and hold your H1

Thanks Ginnu. I was under impression that letter from the client means a letter from the company where my employer has placed me as a consultant.
Thanks again for your clarifiactions.
