Hi All,

Please let me know the procedure to get the Emergency AP. I have already applied for AP a month ago. Where do we get EMR AP. Out regular AP is with CSC. I have sent fax to CSC for expediting the AP no response yet.

Thanks

You can always give it a shot at the local BSIS office, Just take a copy of your 485 receipt and your AP receipt. Talk to them nicely and politely about ur circumstance and see what happens. You can tell them some one important in ur relations ( e.g mom dad) is sick back home and you need to visit. I tried it and it worked last year. So there is always a chance...

you need to provide documentary proof of your emergency - if an immidiate relative is in hospital - a fax of fed-ex document from the doctor explainging the situations is necessary if you go to the local BCIS office.

Hi Seniors
Two weeks back I tool infopass at District office to ask about status of my i-131. the officer told me that you travel document sent out two days ago. I believed and bought ticket and have the vacation approved. But it was not the AP, it was some other notice.

Can tell this as USCIS fault and ask for EMR approval.

Please let me know your feedback.

Thanks

That's bad luck.
I don't think you'll get anything positive out of calling out USCIS' fault(s).

I think the local office has complete discretion over granting emergency AP and you'd stand a better chance by explaining your actual emergency rather than highlight their screwups (even when its true).

of course, all of the preceding is just my opinion -- act in whichever way you think is right :)

Without documentary proof of the screw up there is no way you could claim an emergency status, even with documentary proof I doubt they would issue you an eAP. Even genuine cases have been rejected so chances of getting an eAP are slim if not non-existent.

Hard luck about the vacation and plan tickets. I hope you get a full refund.
