replied in jan 2007 with AC21

No news from then

Recently I moved
Updated my case address online

In the notification letter they are saying that
They have changed my address blah blah and !!!
My priority date is not current, so wait until it is

I have indian passport, I am indian citizen
but I was born in kenya
so my chargeability is kenya
thats why they even accepted my i485
and approved ead
(if it was not current, they wont give ead)

What kind of letter should I write to contact USCIS and ask them to look into this?

What can be done officially?
What can be done unofficially?

Can AILA help?
Will infopass help?

Please advise

Namecheck ?

Maybe you are stuck in Namecheck. I suggest you get an Infopass and find out what's going on. EB2 Non-Retro is current so i think you are stuck in the namecheck process. I hope this is not true but only infopass can tell that. Alternatively you can enquire with NSC Customer Service first to see what they have to say.

OK

let me explain it again

the letter says that my priority date is not current
but it is current

to make sure, i took infopass
they told me that my case looks ok, fbi checks are done
nothing else looks pending
but they are probably waiting for india visa date to be current(which is not correct)

they told me to write a letter saying my priority date is current
and put birth cert and passport copy with the letter as proof

guru's please help

ok
I am preparing myself to write the letter to NSC

can someone help me with this?

I basically have to write that my priority date is current, so you should process it NOW, not after 3 yrs

i am looking for some format.

you do not need specific format. just write a quick paragraph that your case is outside of processing time and that your PD is current. and you ask that they expedite the review and adjucation process.

good luck!

I sent the letter 10 days back

should I expect an LUD change?

should I call USCIS if they updated my case?
