URGENT: Max number of times one can apply for H1B?

Hi all, I've heard something about the maximum number of times one can apply for an H1-B. That particular person said you can only apply two times in your lifetime. Is this true? Or is there any limit on number of times one can apply during a limited time period?

THIS IS NOT IN REGARDS TO H1B TRANSFER. I'm inquiring about brand new H1-B applications. Thanks!!
