Urgent..loosing job...Please help me

I am with a company who is processing GC and 485 filed in Mar 2002.
Currently I am working at client and client offering full time position.

The Job Title at Client will be "Test Analyst", but current title is "Software Engineer" with my employer. If I join at client place, is it must the Job Title & Job Description should be same.

I need to decide in 2 days. or else I will loose job. Please respond ASAP.
 
Job Title doesn't matter, as long as the job description is similiar .. Companies have their own Titles and usually never matches .. Mine was "software specialist" and my previous company as "Software Analyst" ..so you are fine I guess

Make sure your job descriptions match exactly. I know this is tough. Just ensure the technical words match your previous job. Like if you were doing development in Java, then the new job should have the same wording. Title shoudn't matter.
 
First of all, accept the job. Then, you can work your way to make them change your job description - I doubt you will get an RFE really soon, so just take the time. The most important thing is keep your job.
 
Just provide your employer description of your previous job and ask him to give a similar letter if INS issues RFE. If you explain your situation they dont mind. trust me. Titles does not matter.
 
Get ur job description from ur Labor petition(LCA?) and use that as the model.
More than Title, it is the descritption that matters.
Ask ur future employer if they are willing to give a job description saying "Testing Analyst performing the tasks of a software Engineer" or something like that.
