laid off 3.5 month into 485 VSC, EB2. had recv\'ed 485 Receipt Notice.
what are my best options? please advice.
since it\'s 2.5 short of 180 days (since RD of 485), would it be okay
if the company can put me on unpaid family leave for another 3 month
then *officially* lay me off? it\'s killing me the very thought of
starting the whole Green Card process all over again :-(
The downside of unpaid leave of absence is that I won\'t be
eligible for Unemployment Insurance and can\'t start a new job
even I could find one, during the period, right?
Any better alternatives/ideas? Anything I should know during
the difficult time? Should I get any doc (employment doc) from
the current employer in anticipation of a possible RFE when
the process is carried over to the new company (after 180 days,
