I have been going through this site and find it an excellent source of information for all the concerned persons.
I am in a different situation and would request with all the CP gurus to shed some light.
A brief:
I am a standard EB3 Category , counslar processing case. My wife is also along with my case (I had already added my wife at the time of I140). I am currently in india (i.e. for the past more than a year). Prior to that I was in the US for around 2 years. Both are the same company.
My case has been finished by the NVC, and may have been forwarded to Mumbai Consualate. Now the consulate will be sending my Packet4 along with other medical/interview instructions etc. The interview should be by June 2004 End.
My situation is I am getting an 4-5 months assignment in the US and my wife is pregnant and by June 2004 End, her pregnant conditions may not permit her to fly once the interview is over(either from US to India or India to US)
Scene A I go on the assignment alone and my wife stays back. Than upon receipt of interview/P4 letter (Question 1)Can I request the consulate to re-schedule my wife's interview at a date after the child is born in India?? or(Question 2) can we both attend the interview than I again go back alone. Than she joins me along with child after the baby is delivered in India?
Scene B I take my wife on H4 now. Then upon receipt of Interview/P4 letter (Question 3) can I request the consulate to re-schedule my wife's interview i.e. after the child is born in the US. I come to India for the CP interview and go back on Immigrant Visa. Then she comes to India for the interview?
(Question 4)In Scene B, after I get the Immigrant Visa, they will cancel my H1 hence will my wife's H4 will be assumed to be cancelled?
What should I do ....Guys, i am confused would like to request the guru's as I don't want to loose on a good assigment..or the best option would be to just let-go the assignment and I stay in India until the interview?
I tried to search the site with "Follow to join" ..but the result shows "Follow" , "to" and "join"....I also tried "Follow AND to AND join"....is there some other way to search a continuous "Follow to join"?
