URGENT: INS not received my RFE response, need your inputs

No 2nd FP yet.

Hi
On August 6th INS sent RFE on both cases (wife and mine).
We have replied the response on Sept15 and according to UPS tracking system INS received the response package on Sept 16th.
Online and voice mail status not updated yet, so I called NSC and talked to tire2 IIO, she said that according to their computer system they have not received any RFE responses from us.
She asked me to write a letter to Vermont service center.
What should I do now, I am planning to mail and fax a letter with the UPS tracking sheet I have.
Please let me know what the other options I have and what the best way to solve this issue.

While senting it resend the RFE response papers if possible.
That might reduce time if they have lost it.

Same happened

with me. INS sent me RFE on Aug 4th and I replied on Aug 15th and today INS updated online message after 4 months.

How did you followed up with your case, did you wrote any letter to VCS are just called the NCS number. Tomorrow I am going to send a letter with the UPS proof of receipt.

Infact I did nothing and after couple of months I received second RFE asking for same stuff which I sent already on my 1st RFE (so stupid of them) and just 2 days back they updated my online message saying they received my RFE response. My lousy lawyer is still processing my 2nd RFE (I dont know what is there to process) and havent sent to INS yet, which I dont think it is neccessary as they have already received one but bottom line is lawyer wants to make money out of me for my RFE, which I paid $300 buks. I feel all immigrations lawyers are sucking blood of all future GC holders and they take advantage of bad times. Thanks to Bush administration, 9/11 tragedy and ofcourse lousy IIO's :D
