Urgent: "Important question regarding I-485"

Hello everyone:

I got a question about I 485. My labor and I 140 got approved and my attorney said we have to wait to apply for I485 till my priority date is current which is June'05. And current USCIS is processing OCt'01 cases. Now I heard from friend of my mine that I could apply for AC21 and travel out side USA and come back; is that correct statement?

Also if any one knows approximately how fast the process going? I guess any idea when my case will be current 2/3/4 years????. My case is EB3

I would really appreciate any comments/suggestions on this. Also If I want to switch to a different company can I still use my I 140?

You cannot apply for AC21; you do not have a pending I-485.
